As with PhD students, we are always keen to hear from interested potential Honours and Masters students. Most of our broad research themes have multiple potential projects built in to them and the opportunity for the right students to take those projects where they find most interesting. We like to integrate our honours and masters students fully into the research group which means that you will usually be working closely with other (PhD) students in your research area. Check out some examples of potential projects that are available or the research our previous honours and masters students have undertaken to get an idea of the breadth of questions and systems on which you could work .

The University of Tasmania has a number of potential scholarships for both national and international candidates for both Masters and Honours. We have two intakes of students per year, one in February and one in August. If you are interested in discussing doing an honours or masters within our group then please contact either Erik or Geoff or visit the School of Biological Sciences website for specific information regarding the application process.
